​ Atal Tinkering Lab inaugurated at BVM (USN) « 10/Oct/2017

Inspired by the innovative vision (AIM) of our esteemed Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi ji, the Niti Aayog proposed to establish 595 Atal Tinkering Labs in the selected schools across India by providing one time establishment grant-in-aid for ATL’s. In Punjab only twelve schools got this golden opportunity.  From Ludhiana, three schools (BVM Udham Singh Nagar, BVM Kitchlu Nagar and DPS Ludhiana) got this amazing opportunity.  It was a great honour and privilege that Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar today inaugurated the much awaited Atal Tinkering Lab in the school premises. The Chief Guest was ‘Sh. Binay Kumar Jha’ Chief Commissioner, Income Tax, Ludhiana & Amritsar. Esteemed members of the BVM Trust Sh. Phool Chand Jain ji (Vice President), Sh. Madan Mohan Vyas  ji (Secretary), Sh. R K Behal ji (Joint Secretary) , Sh. P C Goyal ji (Member) graced the auspicious occasion. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi, Vice Principal Mrs. Navita Seth, coordinators and the worthy teachers welcomed the guests. The Chief Guest appreciated the vigorous efforts put in by the faculty and the budding scientists for this great venture. The Principal thanked the Chief Guest and the members of the Trust for their benign presence and assured that the new ATL will definitely provide a suitable space to the young minds to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
